Little stone guide(part one) ^_^
The deity I contacted the other night (the one who “scratched” my forehead) sure isn’t making this easy for me.
Last night I repeated the same meditation that led to something (I presume a deity, since I was trying to contact a specific Goddess) “scratching” me across the forehead. I’m…
I’m glad you repeated your meditation and received another strong response. It’s wonderful when your meditations can be answered. I think you are doing the right thing by doing as much research as possible. I’m very intrigued by the scent that you smelled. If you felt that it was a message from the deity you contacted than I’m sure that you’re right. As I said in my last response, I really do believe our instincts are the most important part of meditation/communication with spirits.
As for who you are communicating with, it is very possible that you are actually communicating with Nyx. I really don’t know very much about Nyx, but I did a small amount of research and found that night-blooming flowers (such as Night Phlox/midnight candy and others) are associated with Nyx. There were also a few rituals/ritual oils having to do with Nyx which incorporated the Night Phlox flower.
However, because you are still not positive with whom you are communicating, I would continue to research as much as possible. It’s always a good idea to know everything you possibly can about a deity/spirit before attempting to or continuing to communicate with them.
It seems that this deity definitely wants you to take some lesson from this experience. Only you will be able to figure out what that lesson is, because it is meant for you and no one else (although others can definitely be helpful in this process), but I think you are doing a great job. I would continue trying to communicate and trust your instincts and what you feel during the meditation. It seems that the deity/spirit is not going to spell this lesson out for you, and they are not going to answer you in clear words, which means that you are going to have to rely on your feelings/senses as clues. Trust yourself and research everything you can. If it were you, I would keep a meditation journal which includes everything you felt/experienced during meditation and the research you did afterwards. This could be a online journal, a word document, or an actual hand-written journal. This way you will not forget anything and everything you experienced can be fresh in your mind the next time you meditate. Keeping a journal isn’t necessary if you don’t want to do that, but I always found it helpful.
I’m sorry I could not give you more information. I am not really an expert when it comes to deities and associations, since I generally only work with two deities, but I hope this was helpful anyways. If you have any questions or post about your next experience, let me know. I am excited to see where this goes. :)
Ah…what a lame name for it! But this is what it is.
The purpose of this water is to create a protective energy around you that will allow for healing. Mental healing, that is. It is meant to keep the bad things out to allow you time to heal and sort things out. I am thinking it might work for…
